Get Involved in the Dynamic
World of Cleveland Coaches
The Cleveland Coach Federation (CCF) serves business and personal coaches who are interested in extending their knowledge and personal growth in the field. Members learn from one another in a professional, convivial environment. CCF's purpose is to provide educational and networking opportunities to those who are coaches and to those who aspire to be coaches.
CCF promotes an awareness of coaching throughout the business community, in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. We provide learning opportunities and other resources to practicing and aspiring coaches who are focused on growing and enhancing their skills, and building their practices.
CCF meetings are a place to learn and network with other professionals in the field. We invite you to join us for one of our monthly meetings or periodic workshops to:
- Network with our member and guest business and personal coaches;
- Learn more about advancing your coaching business;
- Discover new ideas and techniques that you can use to grow your practice and work with clients; and
- Discover the value of CCF membership.
What Is Coaching?
Coaching is a dialogue based on a mutual relationship built on trust and respect that focuses on the business or personal outcomes desired by the client. The coach's job is not to "fix" the client. Rather, the coach's job is to listen, observe, and ask pertinent questions to assist the client to determine personal or business objectives, find appropriate solutions and develop strategies to reach their objectives. The coach provides support and encouragement to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.
