What is the Business of Coaching? Better yet, why is it important? You can probably come up with many reasons for why being a coach is important. But…what about the business of
coaching? How does a coach successfully manage a business?
The half day Business of Coaching workshop aims to answer the questions above and more, as well as discuss the importance of planning for and analyzing your coaching business. From discussions about the coaching industry in general to the difference between a single and multi-line phone, we’ll cover almost all aspects of running a business…with some group best practice discussion thrown in!
Join CCF on Saturday, June 21 at the Independence location of the University of Phoenix. The Business of Coaching workshop will start promptly at 8:30 A.M. and will end at 11:30 A.M. The workshop is being coordinated by Ronald F. Arndt, (DDS, MBA, MAGD--Master Certified Coach), Robert Barkett (a fellow CCF member, Certified Empowerment Coach, an Accredited Energy Leadership Coach and an associate member of the International Coach Federation), and Becky Rinaldi (fellow CCF member and OfficeMax Management Coach.)

You are at a networking event and someone sidles up to you and says, "So, what do you do? "How do you react?
Does the question make you cringe? Do you answer it deftly? Or do you feel challenged to get your point across?
Not everyone delivers this basic networking question with focus, finesse and flexibility. But you can develop a basic response, your "elevator speech", in a way that communicates briefly and precisely what you do and the value you provide.
Join us for this highly rated workshop and networking opportunity with Phil Stella, CCF member and expert communicator. Together we’ll define specific criteria for "best-in-class" elevator speeches, discuss and share best practices, and follow up with exercises designed to help you hone your response. You will learn how to create a new and improved elevated elevator speech that can be used at association events, conferences, networking events, social gatherings, or wherever you face THE BIG QUESTION.
