Coach Federation

Norton_VanOosten.jpgThe Cleveland Coach Federation CCF welcomes all professionals who are engaged in or seeking to learn more about coaching on either a part-time or full-time basis. CCF includes members who operate independently as well as those who utilize coaching skills within organizations.

We share a belief in the unlimited potential of people to learn and grow in their lives and careers. In support of the Theory of Abundance, we share ideas openly, to improve the collective knowledge and skill of all coaches under the axiom that "A rising tide lifts all ships."

We are the Cleveland-based affiliate chapter of the International Coach Federation, (www.coachfederation.com) the principal governing and credentialing body for the coaching industry. ICF is an international organization with over 18,000 members in 80 countries and 150 chapters in 42 countries.

sherry.jpgThe Cleveland Coach Federation recognizes that, for many members, coaching is a full or part-time business. Many members also work inside organizations as "internal coaches".

We offer a variety of programs to support business-building as well as skill-building for all members, regardless of their particular specialty or niche.

These include:

  • Monthly meetings cover a variety of topics focused on developing coaching skills and offer information on how to start, market, and build a sustaining coaching practice. 
  • Special workshops delivered by experienced professionals designed to improve your practice and your skills.
  • Earn Continuing Education Units(CEU) by attending both the monthly meetings and the workshops.
  • Stay current on new trends and opportunities in the field of coaching.

Each of our meetings or special programs is an opportunity to network,learn from experienced coaches, acquire new techniques and ideas while discovering ways to build your business through referral, collaboration, and consultation.

Who our are members?

Anyone who wants to learn how to coach or become a better coach can join CCF.  Our membership includes all types of coaches:

  • Coaches who specialize in specific niches, such as career, retirement, relationships, marital, wellness, life balance, longevity, marketing, leadership, management, spirituality, personal, executive, life, small business, corporate and internal coaches;
  • Other professionals such as counselors, therapists, advisors, consultants, mentorsand managers;
  • Individuals who have received coach training in a coach school/university and want to practice or learn from those who have attended different training models;
  • Credentialed coaches who seek CEUs to maintain their professional development;
  • Individuals who are already coaching successfully and want to access new resources to open new markets and new thinking.
  • Coaches who want to build a referral network to include coaches with specialties they don’t address themselves (e.g. ADD/HD, wellness, spirituality, etc); and
  • Individuals who are considering or planning to become coaches and want to explore the human performance improvement field through coaching!
